Email marketing for coaches in India

Email still works for coaches: a workshop, a new cohort, a seasonal programme. It works best when only people who asked for it receive it.

Consent comes first

Under India's DPDP Act 2023, consent should be specific to a purpose and easy to withdraw. Ticking "send me updates" on your website form should be recorded with when and how it was given. CoachKeep records that per purpose and checks it again for every address at the moment a campaign sends.

Reaching the inbox

  • Gmail and Yahoo require bulk senders to authenticate their domain (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and to offer one-click unsubscribe. CoachKeep's campaigns do both.
  • Keep complaints low: email people who know you, about what they signed up for.
  • Remove addresses that bounce. CoachKeep stops emailing an address that bounces or complains.

Why no open tracking

Open tracking relies on hidden images and is unreliable on modern mail apps. Clients of a coach or counsellor also deserve not to be tracked. CoachKeep does not track opens or clicks; it shows who was sent, delivered, bounced and unsubscribed.

CoachKeep campaigns

  • Up to 5,000 campaign emails a month per practice by default.
  • Audiences by stage, status, source or location; merge fields such as first name.
  • Sent from the coach by name, replies to the coach; test send, schedule, stop button.
  • Today, campaign wording is checked by the Adeona team before sending, and campaigns are not yet sent from a practice's own domain.
